Scooba Battery Operation
Scooba Operates by a Battery which can be easily recharged.
after using the battery for hundreds of cycles , it can be simply replaced…
the life time of Scooba Battery
to increase the lifetime of your scooba it is recommended to fully charge it up to 4 hours . after doing so the Battery should last for a completed one cleaning cycle .
as we mentioned above you are advised to replace the scooba battery if it is unable to complete a full cycle when fully charged.
16-Hour of charge cycle
Scooba may use an unusual charge cycle of 16- Hour in order to extended it's life time .. the reasons for this unsual cycle are that it has been not plugged in for a long time , or at the first charge cycle ..
During this 16- Hour cycle the led will Blink Green.
Storage Tip : To maximize the performance of the Battery it is recommended to store it in Scooba itself with the plugged in power supply .. in other words do not keep scooba battery in the robot if it is not plugged in .
How to Install & remove scooba battery
To install the Scooba Battery
1-move battery by rotating it into the slot
2-fit the yellow tabs into the holes
3-you must listen for a click
to remove the scooba battery
1- Hold the Battery
2- push the release tap
3- rotate it up
How to Charge Scooba Battery
1- plug the Power supply into Scooba
2- Allign the Arrow which is shown on the scooba with the arrow which is shown on the power supply
Tips on different colors of the led
1- Red indicates that the battery is Empty
2- Red Blinking Indicates that the battery is not installed
3- Green fast pulse indicates the 16-Hour refresh charge that we talked about
4- Green Pulse indicates charging on
5- Green Solid indicates that scooba battery is fully charged
6- So make sure that the Green light of the charger is always on while being plugged into the Wall.
